Manchester City became champions of England on Tuesday after Leicester City defeated Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Young fullback Luke Thomas scored a cushioned volley in the 10th minute to establish a lead for Leicester City while Mason Greenwood equalised with a fine finish five minutes later.
The much changed Manchester United side would however concede again in the 66th minute as Caglar Soyuncu put a bullet header past David De Gea.
This means that without kicking a ball in this game week, Pep Guardiola’s side are champions as it is now mathematically impossible for Manchester United who sit in second to win the league.
City were on unable to win the title last week at the Etihad as the fell to defeat to Chelsea.
This means Manchester City have won three league titles in four seasons.
