CNB News – Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has made it clear he wishes to stay at the club amid talks on his contract situation.
De Bruyne’s future has been up for discussion as the Manchester based club want to keep the Belgian ace and commit him to a new five-year deal.
The 29 year old who transferred from German side Wolfsburg in 2015 has a current contract with Guardiola’s side that runs till 2023.
Following Belgium’s 2-0 victory over England on Sunday in the UEFA Nations League, Kevin told the media “I am at a good club with good owners”.
“We are a bit in talks not advanced. At the moment I am doing the talks myself”.
‘I would like to stay with the club, so it’s easy. If I didn’t want to stay, it would take someone to mediate. But when you want to stay, it’s not so difficult.”
