Liverpool came from behind to secure a 2-1 win against West Ham at Anfield on Saturday.
It wasn’t an easy feat as West Ham were on the front foot from the get-go as Pablo Fornals pounced on a Joe Gomez error to open the scoring.
Mo Salah equalized from the spot after a foul on him by Arthur Masuaku.
Diogo Jota came off the bench to score but it had it ruled out following a VAR review just seven minutes later. He eventually netted the winner combining beautifully with fellow substitute Xherdan Shaqiri.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praises for the substitute Jota admitting the Portuguese has surpassed expectations.
”We fought really hard that we could sign him- we didn’t have to convince him too much but we really had to fight for it.
”We knew that he is an exceptional talent. He has everything I love in a football player, he has the speed, he has the physicality, he has the technique, he is both-footed, he is clear in mind, very football smart.
