(CNB News) – Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho played down suggestions of a rift with French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele after Spurs win over West Ham.
Ndombele who signed from French side Lyon for £55million last year making him the club’s record signing didn’t feature again in the game Tuesday.
Rumors were fueled when reports in France claimed the player told Mourinho he no longer want to work with him.
”No. on the bench was Tanguy, was Sessegnon, Toby, Vertoghen. Who else? Gedson and they didn’t play and that’s football – for me, there’s is nothing” Mourinho said dismissing the claims.
