(CNB News) – Mikel Arteta’s frustration is evident as his Arsenal team have lost both matches they have played since the Premier League season restarted.
More recently they lost to struggling Brighton who were in search of their first Premier League win of 2020 prior to the game.
The Arsenal boss said his players didn’t take their chances but also got angry at Brighton centre forward Maupay who collided with goalie Bernd Leno causing the Gunner’s number one to be stretchered off.
“He can say whatever he wants” Arteta said “I know my players and one aspect they don’t miss for sure is humility”.
”I think we did a lot of things to win the game comfortably, but we haven’t competed like you have to compete in the Premier League” the Arsenal boss added.
