Road construction/commissioning: Awgu Youths Alliance lauds DSP. Ike Ekweremadu, Commends Hon. Stanley Okeke for the good governance.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu and Hon Toby Okechukwu ( member representing Aninri,Awgu & Oji River federal constituency ) has been a gift to our people and we appreciate them.
Youths of Awgu under the aegis of Awgu Youths Alliance ( AYA ) has lauded the Senator representing Enugu west senatorial zone Prof. Ike Ekweremadu ( Deputy Senate President ) for facilitating the construction/commissioning of the dilapidated Ogontu/Apama road in Mgbowo community, Awgu LGA.
Briefing newsmen in Enugu, the President General of Awgu Youths Alliance Comr Akpa Francis said the action of Ikeoha meets the community’s expectation from a political representative and democrat.
He stressed that the road, which has just been completed and commissioned by Deputy Senate President will in no doubt increase the social activities and infrastructural development of Mgbowo community.
He further urged all political office holders and political office seekers in Awgu LGA to embark on aggressive youths empowerment in the area, spread dividends of democracy and also imbibe the culture of giving back to the society in order to compliment government’s efforts, as government alone cannot do everything.
The Group also commends the council chairman Hon. Stanley Okeke for been a youth friendly mayor, we thank him for the good governance he has brought to our people and urge him not to be distracted, we the Youths under the aegis of Awgu Youths Alliance are solidly behind him.
Comr Akpa Francis also used the opportunity to call on sons and daughters of Awgu to come together for the development of the area.
