#NFH2018: Queen Fade emerged the “Naija Fashion Home Brand Ambassador at the Nigerian Fashion Queen and King beauty contest

We are having more Ambassadors at the Nigerian Fashion Queen and king contest for you all, the latest Ambassador now is Queen Fade. Queen Fade is a medical student at the College of Medicine, university of Lagos, Idi-araba and she is from Lagos state.
It was an amazing moment having Queen Fade on our interview chat this Morning, responding to one of the questions she said: As the NFH Brand Ambassador, my first line of action is to make the
brand name Naija Fashion Home global. My main goal is for NFH to be
known all over the world and for NFH to completely dominate the fashion
industry. Asides that, I am also working on a project to empower young
girls in the society so they can grow up to be the best they can be.

CNB: Let meet you
Queen Fade: Good morning, I am Queen Fade, newly emerged Naija Fashion Home Brand Ambassador 2018. I am from Lagos state.

CNB: Interesting! Congratulations Queen Fade.Tell us, how did you get to know about The Nigerian Fashion Queen and King beauty contest?
Queen Fade: Thank you. First, I am a registered model under Naija Fashion Home. So I can say I have known about the pageant from the very beginning. I was just publicizing it one day when the CEO told me he would like me to contest for it. And also different people saw the same post and encouraged me to sign up for the pageant.

CNB: Interesting.
What do you have to say about the Nigerian fashion Queen and King beauty contest and the pageant?
It’s impact to the society and the youths.
Queen Fade: Well, the pageant was organized to discover young people who can have a positive impact in the society. Its not just about beauty but also about brains. Its about being a good role model to young ones and aspiring models. It’s an opportunity for youths to show their beauty and talents and also a platform to help the society in whatever way we can.

CNB: As the New Naija Fashion Home Ambassador what are your plans to impact to the society?
Queen Fade: As the NFH Brand Ambassador, my first line of action is to make the brand name Naija Fashion Home global. My main goal is for NFH to be known all over the world and for NFH to completely dominate the fashion industry. Asides that, I am also working on a project to empower young girls in the society so they can grow up to be the best they can be.

CNB: How would you go about making known to the world about Naija Fashion Home?
Queen Fade: Currently, my team and I are working on a magazine project for NFH. This magazine would serve as a medium for publicity and for more understanding of what NFH entails. Its going to be a global magazine that would be all over, so as more people get to read this magazine, they also get to know more about Naija Fashion Home. Like I said earlier, NFH is here to dominate the fashion industry and we are not just limited to Nigeria only, we are going global.

CNB: Interesting!
What was experience at the camp to you, meeting new people with different view of fashion?
Queen Fade: My camping experience was beautiful. Everyone in camp was so nice and friendly. It was like we had known each other before coming to camp. We didn’t see each other as competitors, we saw each other as friends and colleagues and that showed me that we won’t have problems working together in future.

CNB: Has modelling been part of you from the scratch, or you grow to develop it. Do your parent support your modelling career?
Queen Fade: Yes, modeling has been part of me from the very beginning. As a child, I’ve always loved fashion and you would always find me glued to the TV watching fashion shows. I’m always camera ready and I knew I had to follow my dreams as a model. My parents have been the best, supporting me in everything I do and I think I have all the support I need from them.

CNB: Quickly, Do one needs education to be successful in this life, And finally, say something to those looking up to you.
Queen Fade: Yes, Education is very important in life. Asides modeling, I’m also a medical student. No matter how successful you are, education is still of utmost importance. There is a certain kind of knowledge that can only be acquired through education. I said earlier, a pageant involves beauty and brains. What impact can a beauty queen have on the society if she can’t speak good English and communicate with others very well? Even if she has brilliant ideas, its not going to show if she can carry them out effectively. So yes, education is very important.

To those looking up to me, I would like to tell you that I didn’t get to where I am overnight. It took a lot of hard work and determination. My first advice to aspiring models have always been to never give up on your dreams. So many obstacles would come your way, but it’s how you overcome them that matters. That’s what makes up your success story. Set your goals, be determined to achieve those goals, work hard to surpass those goals and you will find out the sky is just the starting point. Thank you
