1. Corruption

We all know that the only constitutional role assigned to the office of the Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria is the Chairmanship of the National Economic Council (NEC) which made up of the 36 Governors of the Federation, CBN Governor, Minister of Finance etc. The National Economic Council plays an advisory role just like National Council of States forum as its decisions or resolutions are not binding on the President who is the number 1 citizen and chief executive officer of the country. Apart from the chairmanship of National Economic Council, every other role the Vice President plays is at the mandate or direction of the President.

No doubt, His Excellency Alhaji ATIKU ABUBAKAR GCON during his time as the vice president also chaired the Council on Privatization on the express mandate of his boss President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Sentiment aside ,we all know the fact that the Vice President office are at the mercy of the President. The VP do not have much constitutional roles to play unless assigned by his boss ( The President ).

The question now is :”

How then did His Excellency Alhaji ATIKU ABUBAKAR as a vice president controlled the economy between 1999 and 2007
and made more money or wealth corruptly than his boss Olusegun Obasanjo ? How could that be possible ?

Is it possible for a VP to make more money than the President through corrupt means in any a country ?

The former vice president has been without immunity since 2007 when he left office, why has he not been prosecuted before any competent court of jurisdiction base on corruption or crime case ?

Many former Governors and Ministers have been successfully charged, prosecuted and convicted since 2007, why have they not been able to prosecute ATIKU if there are corruption charges against him till date ?

The so called individuals who conspired to dent his image with corruption, what was their political offices then ?

Even the present government that claimed to be an anti-corruption government has not been able to pin him down on any corruption charges.

ATIKU is not corrupt but correct, do not be deceive !

Let’s get it right !! Let’s Think ATIKU 2019 !!!
