A beauty pageant/beauty contest is a competition that traditional focuses on a physical beauty of it contestant, the first pageant was staged by P.T Barnum in 1854, which became more popular in the 1880s. In 1854 the title of beauty queen was awarded to an 18year-old creole contestant at a pageant in Spa. Belgium and became to be considered more respectable with the first modern “Miss America” held in 1921.
Miss Gbagada international beauty pageant was found in 2014, by Jasanya Adetutu Bolaji popularly known as AVATAR, the owner of Avatar communication and Avatar makeover. She held the first edition of Miss Gbagada international beauty pageant the same year 2014 and the second Edition was held in 2016. She started by going to the street of Gbagada and engaging idle youths into doing various thing, like groaming them in the aspect of makeup training and skillup acquisition by Avatar Makeover and a lot more. Within the space of organizing the first and the second edition of “Miss Gbagada international beauty pageant” through the support and sponsorship of the people of good will of the society, she as so far empowered 300 youths within Gbagada and its eviron, she further appreciates CMC foundation and other organization and persons whom through their support the first and second edition of MGIBP was successful.
She is therefore soliciting for sponsors and supports from different organizations, companies and parsons to make the 3rd edition of MGIBP a massive one.

Miss Gbagada international beauty pageant is also an international pageant that enable the Queens travel across the country, one of her Queen just got an endorsement from a big Nollywood star, a Queen that was crown at the same Miss Gbagada international beauty pageant.
